From May 12 to May 25, 2025, the Department of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy of the Academic Clinic No. 7 “RDLC” at KSMA named after I.K. Akhunbaev is hosting a visit from Swiss expert, endoscopist, and colorectal specialist, Dr. Kaspar Truninger.

Dr. Truninger is actively collaborating with the department’s doctors and KSMA faculty members, including R.M. Attokurova, A.E. Eldiyarova, B.K. Osmonaliyev, and B.A. Atakulov, as well as 1st and 3rd-year residents specializing in gastroenterology.

As part of the visit, masterclasses are being held on gastroscopy, duodenoscopy, and colonoscopy. Special attention is being given to patient consultations for various gastrointestinal pathologies, including polyps, ulcerative colitis, and other conditions.

This visit represents a significant step toward improving the quality of medical services and training highly qualified specialists in gastroenterology.
