From May 12 to 23, 2025, five first- and second-year residents from the “Privolzhsky Research Medical University” (PRMU) of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Nizhny Novgorod, completed an internship in “Epidemiology” at the Department of General and Clinical Epidemiology of the I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA) as part of academic mobility development. The group was supervised by Associate Professor of the Department of Epidemiology, Microbiology, and Evidence-Based Medicine, Candidate of Medical Sciences Nikolay Valentinovich Saperkin.
The PRMU residents visited the practical bases of KSMA, including the Departments of Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision (DPSGES and CPSGES) in Bishkek, the Republican Center for Quarantine and Especially Dangerous.
