“Diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases: modern approaches”

An employee of the Department of Faculty Pediatrics named after K. K. Kozhonazarov and the Dean of the Pediatrics Faculty, Oksana Igorevna Terekhova, participated in the international scientific and practical conference “Current Issues in Modern Endocrinology: From Innovation to Real Clinical Practice,” held on April 23–24, 2025, in Samarkand.

As part of the conference, Oksana Igorevna presented a report on the challenges of thyroid gland function at different stages of human development—from early childhood to adulthood. In her presentation, she thoroughly analyzed modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine diseases, emphasizing the importance of timely identification of pathologies and the use of innovative technologies in clinical practice.

Special attention in her report was given to the issues of interdisciplinary collaboration and the integration of new research methods, making the presentation not only theoretically rich but also practically valuable for physicians of various specialties.

Oksana Igorevna’s participation in this event contributed significantly to the development of international collaboration in endocrinology and highlighted the high level of professionalism of Russian specialists in this critical field of medicine.
